What you’ll need
Have these ready and you can finish your listing in one go.
- Clear photos of each room or tent spot, the bathroom and the view. Phone photos in daylight are fine.
- A GCash, Maya or bank account where guests send the downpayment. Your QR code works too.
- Your rates and house rules, like check-in time, pets and quiet hours. Set weekend or holiday rates if you have them.
- A profile photo and mobile number so guests know who they’ll meet.
- A barangay or business permit, or proof you can rent out the place. We may ask to see it when we verify.
Questions hosts ask
Is it really free to list?
Yes. Listing, your calendar and bookings you log yourself are free. The 10% fee applies only to bookings guests make through Abong, and only once you confirm their payment.
How do guests pay me?
They send the downpayment straight to the GCash, Maya or bank account on your listing and upload the receipt. You check it and confirm. The balance is paid to you at check-in.
Why prepaid credits?
Because guests pay you, not us. Credits let Abong take its fee without ever holding your money. Top up online with QR Ph, Maya or online banking whenever you run low.
Can I keep my Airbnb, Booking.com and Messenger bookings?
Yes. Sync your Airbnb or Booking.com calendar so those nights close on Abong automatically, and add Messenger or walk-in guests to your calendar in a few taps, free.
Do I need to be a registered business?
No. Family-run transients and homestays are welcome. We just need to know the place is real and that you’re allowed to rent it out.
What if a guest cancels?
Your cancellation policy decides any refund, and guests see it before they book. Holds that are never paid release the dates on their own.
Can my staff help manage bookings?
Yes. Invite family or staff and choose what each can do: the calendar, confirming payments, or editing listings.
