You can close your Abong account and have your personal information deleted at any time. This includes anything we received when you signed in with Google or Facebook (your name, email address and profile photo).
Close your account yourself
- Sign in at abongstays.com.
- Open Account settings from the menu at the top right.
- Scroll to Close account, type DELETE and confirm.
Your profile, photo and sign-in connections are removed right away. If you have a stay coming up or you host listings, finish or hand those over first; the page will tell you what’s left.
Or ask us
Email hello@abongstays.com from the address on your account with the subject “Delete my Abong data”. We’ll confirm within 7 days and finish within 30 days.
What we keep
Booking and payment records that the law requires us to keep (for example, for tax or disputes) are kept with your name removed where possible, then deleted when no longer required.
Remove Abong from Facebook or Google
You can also disconnect Abong from your Facebook account (Settings and privacy › Settings › Apps and websites) or your Google account (Security › Your connections to third-party apps). That stops future sign-ins through them; use the steps above to delete what Abong already has.
